The Scott Graham Group (SGG) is a team of leader practitioners with years of experience leading organizations and developing leaders.

Our team has honed the skills needed to teach others how to more effectively lead other humans in today's complex, dynamic, and diverse work environments to execute business plans, grow, and achieve RESULTS!

We have worked with an array of organizational types: the military, corporate, health care, government, manufacturing, volunteer, public schools, higher education, religious organizations, and service agencies.

Because we have spent the time studying successful and unsuccessful leaders and the key principles of effective leadership at all levels, we can help you navigate your way through your ever-changing workplaces.

Scott Graham, Ph.D.

Scott brings 20 years of work as a practicing leader, as well as a leadership consultant/trainer/coach for global and international Fortune 500 companies (including Disney World, Kodak, Bahama Breeze, and Goodrich). Scott has worked with leaders in the military services, all levels of government, higher education, health care and manufacturing sectors, services organizations, and public education. He is the director of Undergraduate and Graduate Leadership Programs at Wright State University and is a tenured Associate Professor of Leadership.

Scott retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel. As a military officer, Scott was the former Director of Quality Improvement, and the Director of the Management Innovation Office for an 80,000-person global organization. Scott holds an earned Ph.D. in Management from the University of Georgia, and he has served as President of an American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) regional chapter, as well as its Vice President of Leadership.

Jim is a skilled leadership development expert. As the former V.P. of Senior Talent Management at AT&T/Cingular Wireless, Jim had direct responsibility for all of the training, leadership development, staffing and organizational development for this organization. While at AT&T/Cingular, the company grew in 6 years from a modest joint venture between start-up Cingular and AT&T, to the industry leader in wireless communications, with an employee base of 66K, and annual revenues of $35B. Jim's tenure at Cingular enabled him to build out a talent management organization that was recognized for innovations in learning, organizational development, and merger integration. While at Cingular, his organization pioneered innovative and "best practice" uses of technology to recruit, train and retain an organization with an average annual hiring target of over 20,000 employees. Jim's experience at Cingular led him to become very involved in external professional organizations.

He currently serves on the board of the Human Resources Planning Society, is an Executive in Residence with The Institute for Corporate Productivity (i4cp), and sits on the editorial Board of Talent Management™ magazine. Jim earned his doctorate in Counseling from the University of Tennessee.

Diane Goodrich, M.A.
Diane Goodrich, M.A.

Diane is a training and development professional with over twenty years experience in program design, implementation and facilitation. During her career, she has worked as an internal and an external trainer and consultant in both the private and public sectors. This diverse experience, which includes health care, governmental agencies and large corporations, enables her to bring practical application to her training. Diane served as the Director of Corporate Educational Services at Hamilton Health Care System in Dalton, Georgia, where she had responsibility for the non-clinical education of over 1500 employees, volunteers and physicians. She is also a registered Corporate Coach. Diane received her Masters in Education from the University of South Florida, and a B.S. degree from The Ohio State University.

Dr. Chad Hoggan is the lead author and editor of one of the most cutting-edge books on Transformative Learning theory. As the former CEO and Director of Training & Organizational Change for a nationwide consulting firm, Chad has helped hundreds of managers develop their leadership capacities. For the last several years, he has been an active researcher of personal growth in cancer survivors, and has presented to numerous cancer support organizations across the country. He has a doctorate in Adult Learning & Leadership from Columbia University, and is currently a faculty in the Organizational Leadership program at Wright State University.
